Codie Finalist

One of the projects I helped develop, the STAR Sportsmanship Series, is a 2007 Codie Finalist. This is a really big honor for our company LetterPress Software, Inc. We will find out in May if we are a winner in that category! Regardless if we win, just being a finalist is a big honor.

The Codie Awards celebrate achievement and vision in software, education technology and digital content. Presented by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), these awards represent the only-peer reviewed honor in the industry. – Codie website

STAR Highschool – WINNER!

Monday, August 14th, 2006

Another project I helped with at my work, STAR High School: The Secret of Baldwin High, has won a ComputED Gazette – 2006 EDDIE AWARD (High School: Social Skills). This was Jordan Leary’s Baby, but I did help do most of the Background illustrations/scenes; I also just finished all the background illustrations for the up-and-coming STAR Middle School: Making Sports History program. You can see many of these illustrations/scenes here on my blog by browsing through my “Current Projects” category. Enrolling in a 401(k) Plan – WINNER!

Monday, August 14th, 2006

I found out today that the Enrolling in a 401(k) Plan program has won a ComputED Gazette – 2006 EDDIE AWARD (Post-Secondary: Life Skills Website). I basically did all the visuals and animation on this one, so it was quite exciting to hear that it won. This program is now being used by various companies, like 1800contacts, to teach their employees the basics of 401(k) plans and how to get started.
